    Archer Western a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking an Administrative Estimating Assistant for the Atlanta office.

As a Proposal Estimating Assistant, you will be on the front lines of this endeavor, helping to secure the new business projects.     • Reviews and processes all the bid documents
    • Supports the Estimating Team with all necessary items to make the team successful
    • Prepare and publish proposals, qualification packages, and bid documents accurately and timely.
    • Interpret client contract specifications for bidding document accuracy and responsiveness.
    • Handle all document control for projects being pursued
    • Preform desktop publishing in MS Word and Excel and other tools (e.g. Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesgin) to ensure proposal documents are properly formatted, compliant with RFP requirements
    • Support Proposal Managers in preparing and assembling proposals, qualifications, and presentations (may include writing/editing, graphic design, page layout, forms, participating in reviews, etc.)
    • Assist with marketing requests from jobsites, corporate, and regional offices as needed
    • Assist regional employees with Corporate Experience Database resume updates (collaboration to write brief biographies for each assigned project, ensure certifications and licenses are updated in the database)
    • Assist regional jobsites with Corporate Experience Database project updates (collaboration to write/revise project descriptions and ensure information is complete and accurate)
    • Maintain a proposal archive
    • Assist with internal regional communications


    • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, or English.
    • Construction experience not required, is preferred
    • 1-3 years of working experience
    • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
    • A good eye for visualization, layout, and/or graphic design skills to facilitate appealing and effective communication
    • Working knowledge and proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook is essential (Adobe Suite not required, but is a plus)
    • Self Starter, who will preform well under pressure and thrives in a fast paced environment
    • Must be able to multi-task, while balancing and prioritizing taks from different directions
    • Must work will in a team evironment
