    Walsh is currently seeking a Quality Managers throughtout the country.

    The Quality Manager is responsible for managing and performing daily quality responsibilities focusing on work planning and inspection activites to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with the contract.

    Responsibilities

    • Leader of project's Quality Culture through promoting, recognizing and rewarding positive quality
    • Direct oversight of QC Technicians and/or Independent Testing Firm personnel
    • Support development and Review Submittals/Work plans to ensure conformance with project specifications
    • On-site inspection of subcontractor and self perform field activities
    • Issue, track, close and prevention of Non Conformance Reports
    • Coordinate and manage material certificates and ensure owner acceptance
    • Develop and Implement quality procedures including Close out Plan, Inspection & Test Plans, and Document Control Procedures
    • Review of all contract documentation and interprets blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with specifications and other regulations governing construction

    Qualifications

    • 5 years of construction experience in the construction industry, preferably with quality emphasis
    • Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree is preferred
    • Ability to enforce quality control, and ensure compliance with quality standards and contract requirements
    • Able to perform surveillance and inspection on multiple crews and subcontractors
    • Flexibility to provide QC services both on and off the jobsite and at various intervals of a project
    • Self-starter with good documentation skills
    • EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) License strongly preferred
