Walsh is currently seeking a Document Control Manager for our LaGuardia Airport project in New York, NY.

The Document Control Manager assists and supports the project team on large or multiple small/medium-size projects.  The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.

  • Ensure consistency in document management procedures across multiple projects
  • Deliver accurate and timely document control reporting to project leadership
  • Work closely with project leadership and various functional leadership to proactively monitor and address upcoming issues related to project documentation and requirements
  • Interface with document management personnel on the client, developer, and design teams
  • Set up project workflows to ensure proper information flow
  • Perform training on systems and processes
  • Formulate a document control action plan
  • Train and mentors resources in document control
  • Manage Document Control Managers and Engineers




  • Knowledge of document control standards
  • 10 years of industry experience
  • Risk management mindset
  • Strong financial/business knowledge
  • Thorough understanding of the industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependability
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to develop or maintain relationships with clients
  • Strong leadership skills

  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
  • Proficiency in Prolog, SharePoint, and DocuPro for document management
