    Walsh is currently seeking a Document Control/Payroll Admin for the 207th Street Yard Project in the Inwood section of Manhattan, NY.

    The Document Control/Payroll Admin assists and supports the project team on assigned projects. The position works under direct supervision, performs routine daily activities and gathers and distributes information. The Document Control/Payroll Admin must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Working knowledge of CMiC, SharePoint, and Constructware (or similar project management software experience) for basic document control functions (training will be provided)
    • Supports the Project team with general administrative responsibilities including payroll processing, data entry, maintaining logs, preparing and maintaining training materials, and maintaining internal process documentation
    • Coordinates the printing and distribution process for engineering drawings and documents
    • Performs basic system maintenance and access requests
    • Develops and distributes meeting minutes and correspondence
    • Maintains both hard copy and digital files in a well-organized manner
    • Coordinates training, schedules meetings, invites attendees, and tracks training compliance
    • Obtains and organizes training records from subcontractors
    • Collects data along with related documentation for maintaining logs for secure information access
       

    Qualifications

    • 0 - 3 years of industry experience
    • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
    • Knowledge of document control standards
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Broad understanding of industry
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Functions effectively as part of a team
    • Dependability
    • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
    • Ability to understand and follow directions
    • Good time management skills and organizational skills
    • Experience with union payroll requirements
    • Familiarity with NYCT/MTA construction projects a plus
