    We are currently hiring for a Business Development Manager in our Texas Building Division located in Dallas, Texas.

    Responsibilities

    • Participates in pursuit strategy development; responsible for implementing strategic vision & strategy of segment of focus.
    • Establishes and meets targeted new owner sales goals (example range $20MM - $50MM per year). This is dependent on the needs and requirements of the individual Business Group assigned.
    • Works with Manager and Regional Leadership to implement marketing plans for specific markets as well as annual marketing plan.
    • Maintains training programs for the BD organization which focus on market research, business intelligence, BD best practices, networking and sales strategy.
    • Responsible for management of CRM data; includes data integrity as well as analysis of data and reports.
    • Participates in presentation preparation and coaching of the Walsh client team in order to respond to client proposals, RFPs, new developments or project opportunities.
    • Provides guidance, mentoring and training to the Business Development Coordinator.
    • Supports the proposal process by facilitating and managing the RFP deliverables and providing updates accordingly. Coordinates various stakeholder groups, such as Marketing, Estimating, and Operations to keep them on track.
    • Participates in industry events and associations as well as civic and community organizations to establish network and build alliances.
    • Supports pursuit, industry, client, market research, and business intelligence.
    • Assists in monitoring customer satisfaction with company services and personnel.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related industry or field experience
    • At least 3-7 years of construction industry experience
    • Experience in Healthcare, Aviation, and Higher Education is required
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Client Relationship Management (CRM)
