    Walsh is currently seeking a Financial Analyst Intern for our Infrastructure Investment Group.

    The Intern position is primarily responsible for working as part of the greater Walsh Infrastructure Investment Group (IIG) team in its pursuit of maximizing value for its investors.  This position supports all members and activities in the portfolio management process throughout the entire lifecycle of its various assets; which includes the sourcing, underwriting, modeling, planning, financing, partnership management, analysis, document control, and reporting for the portfolio.

    • Assist in the setup, data entry, basic organization, and development of the IIG’s CRM software solution (an interactive database for tracking and managing our assets, whether active or passive).
    • Assist all levels of the Development team, as assigned, in the preparation of Statement of Qualifications and Request for Proposals.
    • Assist in the basic fundamentals financial model development as required.
    • Assist in the management of the due diligence process undertaken by 3rd party advisors with regards to basic organization, research, and reporting.
    • An exposure to, and assistance with, facility management reporting and development services activities.
    • Attend meetings, perform research, and assist with document control as assigned.
    • Provide support on numerous special projects and other duties as assigned.


     We are seeking students with the following qualifications:

    • Pursuit or attainment of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering is required
    • Previous internship is preferred

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Strong business acumen and industry knowledge
    • Advanced training in Microsoft Office products
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form; able to adapt communication to communicate effectively with employees at all levels within the company, as well as with external contacts; effective and comfortable presenting in front of large and small audiences
    • Strong understanding of professional limitations and unafraid to ask even the most basic of questions
    • Strong relationship management skills which can effectively foster teamwork, build trust, guide continued improvements and value from partners both internal and external to the Walsh Group.
    • Basic understanding of the construction and real estate industries
    • This position requires Strictness in the Confidentiality of all strategy, portfolio economics, contractual language, corporate financial statements, and development plans

    Working Conditions

    • Hours of Work:  Generally 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday.  However, at times it may be necessary to work extended weekday and/or weekend hours during peak periods or due to business needs.
    • Working Conditions:  This position works in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented work environment.  Operates in normal office.  The position may require extended viewing of computer screens.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.
