    Job Location: Various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL)

     

    Responsibilities

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    Project Engineers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Schedule, plan, forecast, resource, coordinate technical and construction activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion of a construction project. Control project costs by approving expenditures, cost reporting and administering subcontractor contracts. Control project plans by reviewing design, specifications and planning and scheduling changes. Recommend actions as well as prepare project management status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends. Determine and maintain project schedules by studying project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, sequencing project elements, monitoring project progress and field coordinating activities. Determine project responsibility by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements and reviewing bids from contractors. Assist Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers delivering project. LEED & OSHA standards; PrimaveraP6; MS Project; AutoCAD 2D; BIM360 Suite; CMiC; Revit; Navisworks; Bluebeam; Prolog.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management plus two years of experience in the job offered or in construction required. Required skills: 1 year with each: create & manage schedule in PrimaveraP6 for projects valued at >$40 million; cost control and Project Management reporting using CMiC; field coordination using BIM360 Suite & Bluebeam; LEED, OSHA standards; AutoCAD 2D & Revit drafting; Navisworks. Travel 40-60% required.
