Archer Western is currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join our Arizona Water Group in Phoenix, AZ.

The Contract Administrator is responsible for assisting the project team with providing risk management solutions, involvement in owner contract reviews and negotiation of owner contract provisions. They will be responsible for reviewing a variety of documents and leases involving interfacing with Corporate Legal, Risk and Insurance departments.

• Assist Jobsite with set-up of template contracts (PO's, Subcontracts, PSA's)
• Input data generated by job teams into CMiC to manage subs through the life of the contract
• Coordinate internal review of contracts prior to issuance to subs/vendors
• Prepare meeting agendas and meeting minutes for ad hoc meetings and regularly scheduled meetings
• Review cost back-up documentation for accuracy, compliance with contract requirements, and completeness
• Run reports and input data into the change management software program
• Issuance of contracts to subs/vendors for execution via docusign
• Coordinate contracts executed by subs and assemble bonds, insurance and safety plans for inclusion into contract prior to Walsh execution
• Return fully executed contracts to subs and send final version to accounting for posting into CMiC
• Ensure contract cover sheets are completed by project teams
• Make travel arrangements for Regional Employees
• Main POC for Regional Office and IT for any technical, software or hardware issues with office infrastructure
• Maintains regional office supplies, orders new materials when necessary
• General office filing, printing, copying duties as needed by regional office staff
• Incorporate applicable Owner's requirements into subcontract. Set up subcontract/services agreement/purchase order templates
• Update/maintain CMiC subcontracts and compliance database
• Draft, transmit and process subcontracts and subsequent change orders
• Assist with final document assembly and transfer to storage for completed jobs

• Minimum 2 years of related contract experience in the Construction industry
• Legal background preferred
• Attention to detail, effective communication skills and understanding on contract terminology.
• Strong verbal and written skills, and ability to convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow.
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate to project teams and other personnel
• Ability to analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions.
• Well organized, flexible, detail oriented and capable of handling multiple responsibilities.
