Overview

Walsh is currently seeking Interns for our Corporate IT Group in Irving, TX.

Responsibilities

Interns will learn about multiple career paths in our company, and will be trained to become a full-time employee after college graduation. Some duties and responsibilities include:

  • Office application support
  • Overall maintenance of computer equipment
  • Video conferencing support
  • Technical support for internal and external customers
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot and gather all information necessary and escalate to the next level if need be.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer service etiquette and responsiveness is A MUST

  • Current Computer Science, Information systems, Management Information Systems Major or similar.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service oriented field.

  • Windows 10, and Office 365 experience. Networking and Windows servers tools experience

    Strong Troubleshooting skills

  • Must have a strong ability to work with many customers including guests and business partners in addition to supporting your team

  • Strong follow-up skills and ability to resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to work with multi-discipline teams

  • Possess a 'can do', enthusiastic attitude

  • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week; Flexible with School schedule, Onsite position/non-remote

  • Seeking a bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • The ability to work a 12-week work schedule is preferred
  • Specific roles may require relocation
