Overview

Archer Western is currently seeking an Office Coordinator / Payroll Technician for its 183 North Mobility Transportation project in Austin, TX. 

 

The Office Coordinator /Payroll Technician will be responsible for administrative support for a large or mega project or program including such functions as HR/EEO activities, pursuits/bid completion, payroll, reception, and facillities.

Responsibilities

  • Auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standards
  • Daily entry of payroll into Corporate payroll system (PCTimecard)
  • Coordinating and processing all layoff/termination requests
  • Ensure craft workers are paid in accordance with union agreements
  • Check timesheets against payroll system printout of accuracy
  • Assist Compliance Manager with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

The team is looking for someone with the rights skills and attitude. Diverse experiences will be considered, but some possible relevant experience and skills includes:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
  • A college degree in accounting/business administration is desired, but equivalent experience in these fields will be considered
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, communicating with all level in the organization
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of union contracts and regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment and work overtime as needed
